As far as the police business, I figure we're moving along through the investigation stage, so along with what anyone comments here, we'd likely be to the point where they submit that they've no evidence supporting the accusations and might even possibly have alibis and other evidence refuting the accusations? Sorry I've been a little behind and chaotic with the open threads on this plot, I'm not really absolutely sure where we're supposed to be at this point, so correct me if I'm mistaken! :) Alsoooo bendytime to the morning if that's okay?]

[And if Brennan, in turn, were more attuned to other people socially and emotionally, she'd probably realize Beckett didn't mean it as a personal insult to her capabilities but is venting her own frustrations. It doesn't help Brennan's indignation any that Beckett is telling her this in a voice that's distinctly male - she's dealt with one too many male officers that openly belittled her expertise.]

Oh? I would have expected someone with your experience to realize returning to crime scenes weeks after the actual crime took place to gather new evidence is statistically all but useless. The existing evidence simply did not match the suspects, and that's an irrefutable fact. But you are welcome to get a second opinion from somebody more accomplished in the field of forensic science than I am, provided you can find one here.
