Yeah, but you just asked me what I was going to do. So I told you.

...Why can you talk? I didn't know bears could talk.

We already established that I am not just a bear. Maybe a better question is why you've never met one that could talk.

So, then what are you?

Well, because bears in my world -- or at least anything that looks like a bear and isn't a computer program or a robot or a costume -- can't talk. It's just a biology thing.

That is logical, then. In some worlds, my kind is not able to be seen, or felt. A daemon, is what you would call me.

Daemon. We have that word. It's a computer program that runs in the background, performing processes on its own.

So do you help the human, as a daemon?

In some ways, yes. We are a manifestation of what you would call their souls. Though we are completely separate, sentient entities.
